Intro to Visual- Ordered Improvisation

Ordered Improvisation

                                                                                                                                          Adobe Photoshop, 2015

To create a mysterious  cluttered view was my goal. I used imbalance  to create motion and rhythm. Pictures are placed at key locations to help direct and guide the viewer’s attention. To help increase the mysterious feel, images in the corner were lowered in transparency and faded around the edges giving a soft and airy look. The solid, naturally aligned images allow the viewer to have a grounded feel and become a focal point due to the dissimilarity. While the naturally aligned images become focal point for the piece, the diagonal ones help to create a continuation throughout the whole piece leading the viewer’s eyes through the rest of the piece.
